LETTER CARRIERS' FOOD DRIVE ON MOTHER'S DAY
Leave a bag of non-perishable food items (no glass please) by your mailbox on Saturday, May 10th, and your letter carrier will bring it to the Food Bank. The Food Bank warehouse will also be open for donation drop-offs during the day. Let no mother go hungry this year on Mother's Day!

Outright Gifts

  • Cash Gifts
    New Hampshire Catholic Charities is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. Donations made to the agency are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the IRS. Checks should be made payable to New Hampshire Catholic Charities. We also accept contributions made by Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express as well as electronic bank transfers from your checking or savings account.  Click here to make a cash gift online.

  • Securities and Mutual Funds Shares
    If you own stocks that have earned long-term capital gains, your gift to New Hampshire Catholic Charities will help you to avoid a hefty capital gains tax while benefiting the programs and services of New Hampshire Catholic Charities.

  • Matching Gifts
    Many businesses and corporations match the charitable gifts made by their employees. A matching gift can increase the impact of your contribution. To see whether your company has such a program, contact your company's human resources department. You will then need to complete the necessary forms according to your employer's guidelines and mail them to New Hampshire Catholic Charities at:

    If your organization works with the United Way, you can earmark your donation to New Hampshire Catholic Charities by requesting that your donation go to us - write "New Hampshire Catholic Charities" in the blank.

  • Gift Pledges
    Pledges allow you to choose to spread your gift over a period of time (usually not more than 5 years). Gifts are deductible in the year an installment payment is due. To make a pledge or recurring gift, please call New Hampshire Catholic Charities at (603) 669-3030.

  • In-Kind Gifts
    Do you own a printing business or promotional items business where you could donate a service? Can you offer a new item for one of our events to be auctioned off? Can you provide a service that would benefit the organization? Can you provide free advertising or media coverage?   • Bequests
    Have you considered including New Hampshire Catholic Charities in your will? Including New Hampshire Catholic Charities in your will or retirement plan is a meaningful way to continue your legacy and our mission. Please contact John Gennetti, Vice President of Development, at (603) 669-3030, ext. 240 for draft language for your bequest, information on how a bequest can reduce your estate taxes, or to discuss your plans.

  • Life Insurance
    Consider making New Hampshire Catholic Charities a beneficiary of your life insurance policy. Proceeds are then deductible for your estate tax purposes And you may receive a current tax deduction.

  • Charitable Gift Annuities
    This type of giving allows you to transfer cash or securities to New Hampshire Catholic Charities in return for an annuity that pays you on your appointed beneficiary a fixed income for life. Payments to you are based on your age, the date of your gift, and, if you so desire, payment to your beneficiaries.

  • Charitable Lead Trust
    If you are a donor with significant assets whose estates, under current tax law, will be taxed at a higher rate, a charitable trust offers an attractive way to make a generous gift to NH Catholic Charities, while, at the same time, benefiting your heirs.
